TERMINAL FOUR PLAY
Libretto by Julian Woolford Music by Richard John
Theatre 503, London's home of 'fearless new writing' announced a project with website TheatreVoice called Urban Scrawl. We have been invited to take part.
THE MISSION
(From TheatreVoice)
To create podcast mini-dramas inspired by every single stop on the Piccadilly Line. 'Urban Scrawl' is an exclusive experiment; a series of podcast mini-dramas, each
inspired by a different station-stop on the Piccadilly Line.
Well
over a million journeys are made every week on the Piccadilly Line.
That means millions of untold stories are continually rubbing shoulders
along one of London’s best-loved transport arteries. Fifty-three
writers are being invited to take part and have their scripts recorded.
The end results will be made available for streaming and downloading in the new year. There'll be a new play every week for a whole year,
with a vast potential global audience awaiting the next instalment.
THE PLAY
Our station is Heathrow Terminal Four.
Terminal Four Play is a 10 minute rap and r'n'b musical about security staff at Terminal Four. Featuring suspected suicide bombers, sex and guest appearance from George W Bush, Terminal Four Play is now available.
